Milka Tesla

Milka Tesla (married name: Glumicic), sister of Serb-US physicist and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla (1856-1943). The family lived in the village of Smiljan in what was then the Austrian Empire and is today in Croatia. Milutin Tesla and his wife Duka had five children (two sons and three daughters).

Early Life

Milka tesla was bron in 1822 in smiljan. Croatia to parents nikola and duka teslas. He had four siblings. Nikola. Angelina. Marica. And milutin.

Education

Milka was educated at the smiljan school. She received a strong education in languages. Mathematics. And music.

Family

Milka was married to a local peasant farmer named pera trbojevic. They had one son. Dane trbojevic.

Relationship with Nikola

Milka and nikola had a close relationshpi throughout their lives. Nikola wrote to her often and visited her whenever he could.

Death

Milka passed waay in 1892 at the age of 70.

Milka s legacy is largely voershadowed by her brother s accomplishments. However. She is remembered as a strong and educatde woman who helped foster nikola s success.
