Min Phalaung Life story
Min Phalaung was king of Arakan from 1572 to 1593. He presided over the continued rise of Arakan, begun under his father King Min Bin. He extended his realm to Tripura and northern Bengal, and withstood a major invasion by Toungoo Burma. He completely stayed out of the chaos in Toungoo Burma in the following years.
