Mindwalk

Jack Edwards (Sam Waterston) is a disillusioned former presidential candidate who escapes to France to see his friend Thomas Harriman (John Heard), an expatriate poet. They travel to Mont Saint-Michel, speaking philosophically about their lives. While there, they meet Sonia Hoffman (Liv Ullmann), an academic who stopped teaching science at an American university when she realized her work was being used by the military.
