Mischa Schneider Life story
Mischa Schneider, the cellist with the Budapest String Quartet for 38 years, died Thursday at his home in Buffalo. He was 81 years old. Mr. Schneider was born in Vilna, Lithuania, and as a teen-ager went to Leipzig, Germany, to study at the conservatory there with Julius Klengel.
