Monsieur Batignole

During the German occupation of France, Edmond Batignole (Gérard Jugnot) quietly operates a butcher shop, refusing to participate in politics. His daughter is engaged to Pierre-Jean Lamour (Jean-Paul Rouve), a Nazi-collaborator playwright.
