The Parent Teacher Organization in Locust Grove, Ga. , a small city in metro Atlanta, does more to raise money for its school than most similar organizations across the country. The organization, which is run like a corporation by president Carla, holds events year-round to build funds with an ultimate goal of raising $100,000 for the school.
