Municipio VIII

Semi-rural Municipio VIII is home to Appia Antica Regional Park, with its ancient Roman tombs, the crumbling Circus of Maxentius, and the catacombs of St. Callixtus and St. Sebastian. Relics of Roman villas are found in Tenuta di Tormarancia park, and a WWII memorial stands at the Mausoleo delle Fosse Ardeatine. Capannelle Racecourse hosts races and gigs, while gourmet pasta dishes and wines are sold at Eataly Roma.
