About Myofilament
Myofilaments are the filaments of myofibrils, constructed from proteins, principally myosin or actin. Types of muscle are striated muscle, obliquely striated muscle, and smooth muscle. Various arrangements of myofilaments create different muscles. Striated muscle has transverse bands of filaments.
