Biography. Nancy Jane Aldridge was born 22 December 1842 in Marshall, Madison, North Carolina, United States. Her parents were James Thomas and Mary Chadwell Aldridge. Around 1857/58 her parents moved the family from Tennessee to the small community of Orangeville, Fannin, Texas.
