Erik Nicklas Lidström is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman and current vice president of hockey operations for the Detroit Red Wings. He played 20 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings from 1991 to 2012, which he captained for the final six seasons of his career.
