Nigel Slater's Middle East

Food writer and journalist Nigel Slater goes on a Middle Eastern food adventure, exploring some of the oldest and grandest cuisines in the world. He begins in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, where he is invited to celebrate Eid and try a dish called fatteh with a family. Later, he travels south to Nabatieh near Israel, and east to the Beqaa Valley close to the Syrian border. Later, Nigel Slater visits Turkey.
