Nikolay Kaufman Life story
Nikolay Yankov Kaufman was a Bulgarian musicologist, folklorist and composer, sometimes cited as Bulgaria's foremost scholar in his field. Kaufman was born in the Danubian town of Ruse to an Ashkenazi Jewish Bulgarian family.
