Nils Gude Life story
Nils Gude was a Norwegian portrait painter. He was the son of the prominent painter Hans Gude and the brother of diplomat Ove Gude. He studied under his father, before entering the art academy in Karlsruhe in 1877 to study under Eduard Hildebrandt and Karl Gussow.
