Nurettin Topçu Life story
Nurettin Topcu, one of the most important Turkish philosophers of the 20th century, is being commemorated Wednesday on the 44th anniversary of his death. Born on Nov. 20, 1909 in Istanbul's historical Suleymaniye district, Topcu is known for his "philosophy of action" which depends on the "ethics of revolt".
