About Okazaki, Aichi
Okazaki is a city in central Japan. Rebuilt Okazaki Castle is known as the birthplace of the shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The surrounding Okazaki Park contains a museum about his life, plus cherry trees. Daijuu-ji Temple has a grand wooden gate and an ornate pagoda. There are flowering plum trees in Minami Park. The World Children's Art Museum offers hands-on exhibits.
