Olav Beito Life story
Olav Toreson Beito was a Norwegian linguist and professor of Nordic studies at the University of Oslo. Beito was born in Øystre Slidre, the son of the farmer Thore Andreas Beito and Marit Beito. He married Marit Eker in 1930.
