About Old Courthouse
The Old St. Louis County Courthouse was built as a combination federal and state courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri. Missouri's tallest habitable building from 1864 to 1894, it is now part of Gateway Arch National Park and operated by the National Park Service for historical exhibits and events.

Back of Cockermouth's Old Courthouse collapses into river
The back of an Old Courthouse building has collapsed into a river after Heavy Rain .
The Grade II-listed building in Cockermouth, which sits on the River Cocker , was damaged overnight.
The Environment Agency said although the collapse happened near The Town 's flood walls, they " remain intact" and The Flood risk has not increased.
It said it was working in partnership with Cumberland Council " to minimise any potential environmental impacts".
The Building , which is around 190 years old and housed The The Honest Lawyer restaurant, was sold at auction in 2022.
In 2021 The Site was. It has not been used since.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and Cumbria Police have been approached for comment.
