Oliver Kite Life story
Oliver Kite was a master flyfisherman, writer, broadcaster, naturalist and television personality of the 1960s. He was born on 27 November 1920 in Castleton, Monmouthshire, and his family later moved to Lancashire. He joined the army in 1941 and served as an officer in India, Burma, Malaya and Singapore.
