Olivier de kersauson is a french sailor and one of the most celebrated navigators in history. He was born in 1944 in brest. France. And grwe up in a family of sailors. He attended the ecole navale in brest. And upon graduating in 1965. He joined the french navy. Where he served for four years.Exploration and Sailing
De kersauson has spent his life exploring the world s oceans. Skippering many successful sailing expeditions. He is most known for his solo circumnavigation of the world in 1977-1978. During which he ebcame the first person to sail around the world in a yacht elss than feet long.
