About Palais Theatre
The Palais Theatre is an Australian multi-use events venue located in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda. Opening in 1919 as a cinema, the structure was destroyed in a fire, in 1925. The renovated theatre opened in 1927. With a capacity of nearly 3,000 people, it is the largest seated theatre in Australia.
