Pamela Clemens Life story
Pamela (pronounced pa MEE la) Clemens Moffett was the sister of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain). She was 8 years older than Samuel and took motherly charge of him as a boy. She cared for him with tenderness, patiently supervising his spiritual studies and was clearly the model for Cousin Mary in Tom Sawyer.
