About Pan De Azúcar National Park
Pan de Azúcar National Park is a coastal nature reserve divided between the arid Atacama and Antofagasta regions of northern Chile. Overlooks such as the Mirador rise above its desert landscape, home to varied cacti and wildlife including guanacos and foxes. The fishing village of Caleta Pan de Azúcar is a snorkeling site. Boats visit Pan de Azúcar Island to observe a Humboldt penguin colony.
