About Parque Lefevre
Sprawling, mainly residential Parque Lefevre is home to the ruins of Panama Viejo, a European settlement dating to 1519, with a panoramic lookout from the top of its cathedral tower. A walking trail leads around the complex and along the shore to the Museo de Panama Viejo, exhibiting finds from the site. Casual Panamanian restaurants and cafes are scattered around the area.
