Paul Kiparsky Life story
René Paul Victor Kiparsky is a Finnish linguist and professor of linguistics at Stanford University. He is the son of the St. Petersburg-born linguist and Baltist/ Slavicist Valentin Kiparsky. Kiparsky is especially known for his contributions to phonology.
