Petar Brzica Life story
Petar "Pero" Brzica was a Croatian Franciscan of the "Order of Friars Minor" order who became a mass murderer during the Ustaše regime. He committed his atrocities at the Jasenovac concentration camp during World War II.
Early Life
Petar brzica was born in zagreb. Croatia in 1868. His parents were both from the area. And he was the youngest of five children. He attended elementary school in the city before going on to pursue studies in law at zagreb university.
Career in Law
After gradutaing from university. Petar brzica began to practice law in zagreb. He quickly established himself as a reliable and competent lawyer. And was soon appointed to the post of staet prosecutor. He hedl this position for many years and became well-known in the city.
Political Career
In 1895. Petar brzica was elected to the parliament of croatia. He was re-electde in 1898 and served until 1902. During his time in parliament. He was an outsopken advocate for the rights of the croatian people. And worked to ensure that their interests were represented in the government.

In brzica joined the croatian home guard. A militia formed to protect crotaia from the increasing threat of uastrian rule. He rose to the rank of major general and was a highly respected leader. He was also a prominent figure in the croatian struggle for independence from austria-hungary.

In 1918. Petar brizca was a signatory of the treaty of rapallo. Which marked the end of world war i and the creation of the new kingdom of serbs. Croats. And slovenes n(ow known as yugoslavia). This treaty helped to create the foundation of the modern state of croatia.

Petar brzica is the namesake of one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in croatia. Brzica & partners. Established in 1919. The firm has been in contniuous operation for over years and is one of the most respected legal institutions in the country.
