Peter H. Veltink is professor of technology for the restoration of human function at the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands. He chairs the Biomedical Signals and Systems Group, of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. He was born in 1960 in Groenlo, the Netherlands.
