Phil Verchota Life story
Phillip John Verchota is an American former professional ice hockey forward. He is best known for being a member of the Miracle on Ice 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal. He was the captain of the U.S. hockey team at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
