Philip Taliaferro, Sr., Life story
Philip Taliaferro born 1745 in King and Queen County, Virginia was the son of William Taliaferro and Elizabeth Holden. He was known as Philip Taliaferro of Hockley. He served as Captain of the King and Queen County Militia during the Revolutionary War.
