Philippicae

The Philippicae or Philippics are a series of 14 speeches Cicero gave condemning Mark Antony in 44 and 43 BC. Cicero likened these speeches to those of Demosthenes' Philippic, which the latter had delivered against Philip of Macedon. Cicero's Second Philippic is styled after Demosthenes' De Corona.
