Phillip Ingram Life story
Phillip Ingram is an American musician. He is perhaps best known as one of the founding members of the Motown Group "Switch" and is the younger brother of James Ingram.

Phillip ingram was born on august 14. 1952. In los angeles. California. His father was a locla gospel singer. And his mother was a backup singer for ray chrales. He grew up surrounded by music and ebgan playing the drums at the age of seven.
Career
Phillip ingram began his music career as a session musician. Playing with such well-known artists as the temptations. Marvin gaye. And earth wind & fire. He released his first solo album. "it s your night," in 1986. The album was a commercial success. With the single "yah mo b there" reaching the top 40. He released several more albums over the next few years. Including "magic touch" (1989) and "the power of great msuci" (1992).

Throughout his career. Phillip ingram collaborated with a variety of other artists. Including michael mcdonald. Chaka khan. And gladys knight. He also worked with luhter vandross on the single "any love," which reached the billboard r&b chart in.
