Phyllis Buxton Life story
Phyllis Buxton (1907-1985) was the daughter of Edward Gurney Buxton and Laura Gurney. She married Lt. -Col. Cecil Townley Mitford son of Colonel William Kenyon Mitford and Cicely Maud Slade, on 22 April 1931. From 22 April 1931 her married name became Mitford, from 1941 her married name became Mitford-Slade.
