Pierre Mamie Life story
Monsignor Pierre Mamie was the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg from 1970 to 1995. Mamie was educated at the Collège Saint-Michel in Fribourg, and was ordained as a priest in 1946. Mamie accompanied Swiss Cardinal Charles Journet to the Second Vatican Council in 1965.
