Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza , at the age of 55, died after a Cardiac Arrest , the government says.
A government statement says he was in a hospital on Saturday after feeling unwell.
His condition improved, but on Monday he had a Cardiac Arrest and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Mr Nkurunziza was a result of his resignation from The Presidency in August after 15 years in power.
