About Pomerode
Pomerode is a city in southern Brazil. It's known for its German heritage, which includes the Rota do Enxaimel trail of European-style half-timbered houses. One of these, the Immigrant House Museum Carl Weege, features a preserved water wheel. The Pomerano Museum tells the story of the region's German settlers. Casa do Escultor features the wooden sculptures of renowned local artist Ervin Curt Teichmann.
