Prasannan Parthasarathi

Prasannan Parthasarathi is a professor of history at Boston College. He is particularly interested in environmental change, agriculture, and labor in 19th-century South India. In the 19th century, the ecology of Tamilnad, a region in southeastern India, was severely degraded.
