Punilla Valley

The Punilla Valley lies in Argentina's Córdoba province, close to the city of Córdoba. Flanked by the Sierra Chica and Sierra Grande mountain ranges, it's home to several resort towns. The city of Villa Carlos Paz is the valley's main hub. It's near the mouth of San Roque Lake, a large reservoir surrounded by hills. Farther north, the town of Cosquín is known for its annual folk music festival.
