Qurghonteppa or Kurganteppa, officially known as Bokhtar, is a city in southwestern Tajikistan, which serves as the capital of the Khatlon region. Qurghonteppa is the largest city of southern Tajikistan, and is located 100 kilometres south of Dushanbe and 150 kilometres north of Kunduz, Afghanistan.
