About Rajput Regiment
The Rajput Regiment is an infantry regiment of the Indian Army. It is composed primarily of troops from the Rajput, Ahir, Brahmin, Bengali, Dogra, Gurjar, Jat, Muslim, and Sikh communities. During the Second World War, the class composition of the regiment was 50% Rajput and 50% Muslim.
