Ramiro Ortiz is a Nicaraguan businessman. He heads Grupo Promérica, one of the main corporate groups of Nicaragua. He controls or used to control Palcasa, a firm, that replaces jungle areas with palm oil plants. He is among the richest men of Nicaragua. He owns Banco de la Producción.
