About Ranchu
The Ranchu, is a hooded variety of fancy goldfish developed in Japan. It is referred to as the "king of goldfish" by the Japanese. This breed has also been historically referred to as the Maruko or Corean Goldfish. However, today, Maruko more commonly refers to the Egg-fish goldfish.
