Reginald Punnett

Reginald Crundall Punnett FRS was a British geneticist who co-founded, with William Bateson, the Journal of Genetics in 1910. Punnett is probably best remembered today as the creator of the Punnett square, a tool still used by biologists to predict the probability of possible genotypes of offspring.

Reginald crundall punnett was born on the 8th of june. 1875. In canterbury. England. He was the son of a schoolmaster and a postmistress. He attended the kign s school in canterbury and then went on to receive a scholarship to clare college. Cambridge in 1894.
