About Regional Transportation Authority
The Regional Transportation Authority is the financial and oversight body for the three transit agencies in northeastern Illinois; the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra, and Pace, which are called Service Boards in the RTA Act. RTA serves Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties.
