Regol

Mainly residential, Regol is home to the grand Masjid Raya mosque, with its golden domes and towering minarets. The mosque overlooks Alun Alun city park, a popular meeting point set around a wide artificial lawn. Jogging paths criss-cross busy Tegalega park, where vendors gather to sell clothing, souvenirs, and street food like roasted sweet corn and fried bananas. Numerous curbside eateries offer Indonesian fare.
