The Kazyr River flows for 388 kilometres through the Irkutsk Oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia before joining the Amyl River to form the Tuba River, a right tributary of the Yenisey. Its name translates from the Tuvan language as "savage". The river drains an area of 20,900 square kilometres.
