Rev. John Gorsuch Life story
The Reverend John Gorsuch was the rector of the parish of Walkern in Hertfordshire. Faithful to the Church of England, he was ejected from his living in 1642 by the Puritans and "pursued by Parliamentary officers in 1647, he took refuge in a hatmow and was there smothered." He was married to Anne Lovelace in 1628.
