Gene (Gene Autry) works for a rich ranch owner who has landed the valuable contract for the upcoming Frontier Week rodeo, which Gene is in charge of. Crooked nightclub owner Pomeroy (Le Roy Mason) wants to get his hands on next year's contract and is willing to do anything to obtain it, even if thatmeans murdering the competition.
