Richard Hawksworth Barnes Life story
Richard Hawksworth Barnes FLS was a British meteorologist and naturalist, who spent time working as a coffee grower in Ceylon, where he collected specimens for the British Museum. The snake species Boiga barnesii is named in his honour.
