About Richelieu – Drouot
Richelieu - Drouot is a station of the Paris Métro on Line 8 and Line 9. It was opened on 30 June 1928 with the extension of line 8 from Opéra and line 9 from Chaussée d'Antin. It is named after the Boulevard de Richelieu and Rue Drouot. Richelieu was Secretary of State to Louis XIII.
