About River Dee
Afon Dyfrdwy (River Dee) is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in the preserved county of Clwyd, north Wales. The river begins in Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri, in Snowdonia, Wales. From there, it flows northeast to Corwen, goes eastward past Llangollen, and continues east through Chester, England.

Roads and rail flooded after hours of heavy rain
Heavy Rain has led to flooding and transport disruption across many parts of Scotland.
A section of the A92 in Fife was closed while Aberdeenshire, Angus and Perth and Kinross also saw many roads rendered impassable.
On the railways, the East Coast Mainline was shut at Grantshouse for several hours due to flooding.
A Met Office Amber Alert is in place for some areas, with warnings of fast flowing or deep floodwater.
Forecasters said some parts of eastern Scotland could see as much rain in 24 to 36 Hours as would be normally expected during the entire month of November.
On Friday morning the (Sepa) had 25 flood warnings in place, while police urged The Public to avoid unnecessary travel in affected areas.
Sepa duty manager Vincent Fitzsimons told The Bbc : " We're expecting an event of a similar magnitude to Storm Frank in 2015/16 So There is a risk of widespread property flooding to some communities in the Angus/Aberdeenshire area.
" The advice is to follow the advice of The Emergency services and to look on Sepa's website. You'll get the latest information on flood warnings and flood alerts there. "
Angus was badly affected, with The Council taking the decision in advance to close many schools.

Aberdeen City Council said it had been cleaning storm drains in advance of the expected deluge.
Thursday's Christmas tree lights switch-on was also cancelled due to the bad Weather Forecast , The Council confirmed.
The Flood gate at Riverside Drive beside The River Dee has been closed in preparation for the Heavy Rain and flooding.
A council statement said: " Residents in flood-prone areas are recommended to stock up on flood prevention including sandbags or door flood stops from DIY stores. "
