About River Taff
The River Taff is a river in Wales. It rises as two rivers in the Brecon Beacons; the Taf Fechan and the Taf Fawr before becoming one just north of Merthyr Tydfil. Its confluence with the River Severn estuary is in Cardiff. The river supports a number of migratory fish, including salmon, sewin, and eel.

Heavy rain causes floods and travel chaos across UK
Heavy Rain and strong winds across the UK have led to flooding and travel disruption, as warnings continue with more bad Weather Forecast .

The National Grid said about 600 homes, mainly around the Welsh city of Newport, were without power.
